On the balance of all practical probabilities, it’s easier (and cheaper) to write your own stuff.

Why do people mourn when their leaders lose elections? Is it common for people to cry over events that are out of their control?

Your writing doesn’t have to be perfect for a blog. It only needs to be reasonably readable — and reasonably formatted (which you still have to do anyway even for a piece written by someone else).
